How to connect a wireless router to a desktop computer with a network cable

As shown in the figure above, the home network cable is connected to the WAN port of the router, and the network cable is connected to each Internet device from the LAN port of the router.

The router settings are as follows:

First of all, reset the router initially, restore the factory settings (very important), and then connect the computer network card with the LAN port of the router with a network cable, and turn on the power of the router; computer network card settings;

Enter the default username: admin and the default password: admin; Click OK.

1. Set up dialing:

1.After the line is connected, open a browser, enter the management address and management password of the router, and then enter the router background (the login address and login password of the specific router can refer to the manual or the label on the back of the router).

4.Confirm it once the input is complete, and then restart the router to take effect.

Connecting your desktop computer to your router network requires the following steps:

Determine the location of the router and the computer: First of all, you need to determine the location of the router and the computer, and make sure that there are no obstacles between the computer and the router so that the signal transmission is more stable.

Locate the network connector: Locate the network cable socket on your desktop computer, which is usually located on the back or side of the computer.

Connect the network cable: Use a network cable to connect the router and the computer, plug one end into the network cable socket of the router and the other end into the network cable socket of the computer.
