Because I want to seek better development, I came to Beijing with more than 1,000 yuan, you must know that more than 1,000 yuan can be spent for a long time in our hometown, but in Beijing may not even last a week, and even directly defeated by the problem of renting a house. In order to save some money, I rented a basement in a very remote place, which was not expensive, but after renting the basement, I didn't have much money left. If you are hungry, you can only buy steamed buns and pickles, because these two are the cheapest things.

The next step is to find a job, which must be a top priority in order to be able to establish a foothold in the big city of Beijing as soon as possible, and it is also a very difficult task.

In my hometown, you can basically find a job as long as you submit your resume, but after submitting hundreds of resumes here, all of them are lost in the sea, and there is generally no news. At this time, I realized that there is really an essential difference between a big city and a small city, and the difference is not a little bit. Because it was difficult to find a suitable job and I was in urgent need of money, in order not to cause trouble to my parents, I had to temporarily work as a salesperson in a restaurant.

Even such jobs are generally hard to come by. So I'm probably lucky compared to the others.

I have been a salesperson for a while, looking for a better way out while working, and I have to get up at five or six o'clock in the morning, because I live in too remote place, and it takes nearly two hours on the road alone, and if I accidentally encounter a traffic jam, I will definitely be late. No matter how hard you work, this job is not easy to come by, so you must keep doing it. Thankfully, it didn't take long for me to find another job, and the new job was closer to home, so life was finally better.

Gradually, life got better and better, I changed to a bigger house, made a lot of new friends, and the most difficult time finally passed.

1. Renting: The most difficult thing in Beijing is the housing problem. Newly graduated students rarely live comfortably, and living well in Beijing is the greatest happiness.

2. Loneliness: If you are drifting north, watching the pedestrians on the road rush past you, you will have a feeling of being independent from Beijing. The liveliness is theirs, and the loneliness is their own.

3. Competition: Beijing is full of talents, there are too many excellent people, and you can always meet people who are 100 times better than yourself, so the competition is very great.

It refers specifically to people (including foreigners and non-locals) who live and work in Beijing from non-Beijing areas, who are not registered in Beijing (i.e., traditional Beijingers). Beipiao means that people rarely have a fixed residence in the early days of coming to Beijing, and moving around gives people a feeling of drifting.

It itself is also unable to have more identification with Beijing for many reasons, hence the name. Some people are from Beijing universities and do not go to their assigned places to find jobs in Beijing, while others leave their initial work units and come to Beijing to find jobs after graduating from universities in other places. Although they have achieved employment, they still belong to the "drifting" group from the perspective of the separation of the place of employment and the place of household registration.

2. People who live in Beijing but do not have a Beijing hukou either already have a job or are looking for development opportunities ("not rooted" should be the second meaning of "drifting"). Almost all of these people are young people, and most of them often have a certain degree or high cultural literacy, knowledge and skills, and they mainly seek to show their ambitions in the fields of cultural industry and high-tech industry. These people are more of a state of drifting psychologically, and many people in the North Drift may be very successful, but many people still lack a sense of security and belonging in their hearts ("psychological drifting" should be the third meaning of "drifting").

After reading this topic, I still have a lot of feelings in my heart, so let's talk about my own personal experience.

1.You have to have an unwavering goal to support yourself. I came to Beijing in 2014, and the situation at that time was that a friend from my hometown found an administrative job in Beijing, and after I came alone, I felt that I didn't dare to go anywhere except for my unit, and I was not too afraid, or I felt strange.

At that time, I had no choice, I didn't want to stay in my hometown, so I could only grit my teeth and persevere.

2.Have at least one friend to talk to. Even if this friend is not the kind of person who is very close to you, it is okay, at least when you are helpless, someone can listen to your nagging, which is also a way to vent.

3.Try to expand your circle and meet more people. There are countless opportunities in Beijing, of course, the competition is too fierce, if you want to live well, or drift better, you must make career planning and set good goals for your career.

4.Stick to keeping your hobbies and hobbies, at least one. Whether you like to listen to music, fitness, travel, etc., you can at least let yourself take a breath from too much pressure after work, so that you can breathe your tense nerves, which will add a boost to your persistence in the future.

To be honest, when you just graduate and come to Beijing, it's easy to be beaten by reality and go home.

I didn't come to Beijing as a fresh graduate, so I wasn't qualified for this question.

But, let's force it.

I resigned and came to Beijing, and with the mentality of playing, I lived in a youth hostel in Wudaokou for a year and played for a year.

It's mainly the money I saved from my previous work, so it's okay to eat and drink, and I don't have to worry too much.

Then I submitted my resume blindly, went to an Internet company, and then I worked.

Then I bought a house with the support of my family.

The important thing is to evaluate your own conditions and family foundation, whether it can give you a strong backing, I am ashamed to say, I know that I can't continue in Beijing, and I will have a job, a car, and a house when I go home.

The second is to assess whether you can endure a lot of difficulties at the beginning, no money, no experience, no connections, nothing.

It's still quite hard overall, depending on how you deal with it.

And the mistake I made was: After graduating as a fresh graduate, I found a company to work at random, and I didn't pay attention to the hukou, thinking that I would have to go back to my hometown after working for three or five years at most, but I didn't expect this to happen, 6 years have passed, and I am still drifting north. Working in Beijing, the most important thing is to be happy, it is inevitable to encounter unhappy things at work, and the solution to my unhappiness is to resign and change units, due to their frequent changes of units, social security has also been cut off many times, and the qualifications for points settlement are gone, I have changed three units in a year.

I once dreamed of marrying a Beijing girl, but I found out that I was just thinking about it. Ordinary people in Beijing generally look down on outsiders, ordinary people like us, if they don't have good looks or money, even if they meet on a blind date, they just know that there is no play.

And buying a house in Beijing is a fantasy for me. On the one hand, I can't afford to buy land in Beijing, which is really expensive. Although since 2017, the price of second-hand housing has been declining, but the house prices outside the fourth ring road and within the fifth ring road are 50,000 square meters, even if you don't eat or drink, you can barely afford the down payment for a lifetime, and you can't think of it within the fourth ring road.

On the other hand, you are not eligible to buy, and you must meet the requirements of paying taxes in Beijing for five consecutive years (referring to individual income tax) or social insurance certificates in Beijing for five consecutive years. And I stopped paying for a few months, and so far there have only been 2 consecutive years, and I have to stay up for another three years.

In 2015, I was idle and bored to take a driver's license, I thought I could buy a car, but I didn't expect that I was not qualified to shake a license plate, even if I could shake it, I couldn't win, the probability was too low. Beijing license plate also needs to pay social insurance and personal income tax in the city for 5 consecutive years.

Here, I would like to advise everyone in Beipiao: It's okay to resign, don't break social security, even if you find a third party to pay. As soon as social security is cut off, buying a car, buying a house, and settling down will be affected.

The most memorable experience of Beipiao was the winter of 99, when I didn't go back to the student apartment rented in Liulangzhuang for half a month, and slept in the office of the unit. As a result, when I went back, I found that the entire student apartment was almost demolished, but fortunately my things were still there, and there were not many things at that time, so I took a taxi overnight and took refuge with a friend who lived in Xisanqi. After half a year, I went out at 6 o'clock every night, arrived at the unit at 9 o'clock, got off work at 5 o'clock at night, and arrived home at 9 o'clock.

Now, it's about 40 minutes each way to work, but fortunately, it's only eight days a month.

It is not easy to drift, and there are many inconveniences. I have been in Beijing for many years, and I am an old drifter, and I see my son and daughter-in-law making a one-way trip for nearly two hours every day, but I feel distressed but there is nothing I can do. In many aspects, I have sighed a lot and deeply experienced.

Beipiao, this year is the fourth year I came to Beijing, the company moved once in these four years, now the company in the East Third Ring Road International Trade, living in the East Fifth Ring Road outside Shigezhuang, although the number is two rings, but every day to work need to take the bus 1 hour and 30 minutes, occasionally traffic jams take 2 hours. Recently, I heard that the place where I live will be demolished next year, and I am preparing to move, and I am reluctant to move, so I can only move out, and it is expected to be two hours away! Is it tiring to do this?

Tired! Very tired!! What is there to endure in order to survive!

No matter how heavy the rain is, it will stop: live in Dingfu Huangzhuang on the north side of Beiqing Road, go to work at Changchun Bridge in the West Fourth Ring Road, there is no place to park in the village, the car is parked in the Life Science Park, it takes more than 10 minutes to walk, and then drive the daughter-in-law to the software park, the car is parked in the daughter-in-law's company, and then ride to Xierqi, and finally take the subway to Changchun Bridge, a total of about an hour and 40 minutes!

What's so good about life in Beipiao?

But at least in Beijing, when I had no money, I sent it to my circle of friends, and a group of people helped introduce me to work, and I had food and accommodation to do.
