Article 9 Financial institutions shall establish and implement a customer identification system in accordance with regulations.

The specific implementation measures provided for in the preceding paragraph shall be formulated by the People's Bank of China in conjunction with the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
