A Buddha is an enlightened being. Any sentient being becomes a Buddha when he is enlightened.
Blessings are not Buddhas, and curses are not Buddhas. It's all the concept of sentient beings. A Buddha is to guide sentient beings to become enlightened Buddhas, and nothing else.
The retribution for disrespecting the Buddha has been exaggerated by some people, as if God was punishing those who were disrespectful. In fact, the Buddha treats respect and disrespect equally, and it is not the Buddha who has a different heart.
There are two aspects of retribution for disrespecting the Buddha, both of which are realized by sentient beings' own minds: one is to have a disrespectful heart towards anyone, that is, to do the karmic causes, there will be results, and if others do not respect you, you will definitely not be happy, and this is considered a bad retribution. Don't think that it's okay if someone you don't respect doesn't know what's going on, because all living beings have one alayya, and any motivation exists in it, and the retribution will appear when the opportunity is ripe.
On the other hand, the Buddha is a teacher who talks about the Dharma, and if you don't respect the teacher, you won't listen to the lecture properly, and this will hinder you from becoming a Buddha.
In addition, it is said that slandering the Buddha is punished because it hinders all beings from becoming Buddhas. For example, if someone slanders the Buddha, in whatever form, whether it is slandering or misinterpreting the Buddhist scriptures, it will shake the faith of some sentient beings or lead them astray, and the path to Buddhahood will be hindered, and the retribution will be hindered in various forms (whether intentionally or unintentionally, because cause and effect are determined). Because they are hindered and do not understand the Fa-rectification, they create sinful karma and sow the seeds for greater retribution in the future.
If your disrespect for the Buddha affects sentient beings in a tangible form, then those who learn the same way will not listen to the Dharma and will hinder you from becoming a Buddha, and some good people who are not deeply involved in Buddhism may become dissatisfied or even angry because of this, which is also bad karma, and your actions will cause others to do bad karma, and you will have to bear the consequences. If it's just disrespect in the heart and doesn't show it, then it's working on awareness. Because Alayas are one, the thoughts of any sentient being have an impact on other sentient beings to a greater or lesser extent, and it also contributes to the collective karma of sentient beings.
The Buddha name of Amitabha Buddha has a special role, which is related to Amitabha's vow. See the "Amitabha Sutra" and "Amitayus Sutra" in detail. The name of Amitabha Buddha has the function of vajra seeds, and when you hear and see it, it will be present in the Alayya consciousness, which can be seen as a kind of "pure karma" in addition to good karma and bad karma (both of which are samsaric karma), and its result is the bliss of rebirth.
After passing away in Bliss, continue to practice until you become a Buddha (only passing away does not become a Buddha, Elysium is also a world, and there are sentient beings, but it is like a safe, and when you reach this world, you will not retreat, and you will no longer be reincarnated). Of course, when you can die is related to many factors, maybe it will take many lifetimes, maybe one lifetime. For your question, the Buddha name is neither good nor evil, neither a blessing nor a curse.
If you think that bliss in rebirth is a blessing, then it is a blessing, although "blessing" is not a Buddha's concept.

If we don't respect him, it means that we are arrogant, self-righteous, and unwilling to learn from his old man, then we will not be able to accept his old man's education on the wisdom of our sentient beings, and of course we will not be able to solve our troubles and sufferings. This is just like when we don't listen to the teacher, we don't offend the teacher, but we hurt ourselves. It is also appropriate to call this mistake a "sin."
He said "no" because the Buddha is a liberated being, an enlightened being, and although he wants sentient beings to understand the truth and be happy, he knows that sentient beings are not wise enough to see through the illusory and untrue nature of all things in the universe, and they suffer because of attachment. He doesn't add sin to sentient beings except for compassion for sentient beings, and in that sense, don't be afraid of what the Buddha will do to you.
In the Buddha's view, giving birth to the Buddha as one, and respecting the Buddha is actually respecting oneself; To despise the Buddha is to despise oneself. Therefore, we should not only respect the Buddha, but also the heavens, the earth, and all sentient beings. We are all one, what have you been arrogant about?

If you not only slander the Dharma yourself, but also prevent others from getting close to the Dharma and pull others along to slander the Dharma, then this sin karma will be serious, and you will also create other negative karma, which is recorded in the Jizo Sutra, and you will fall into the Infernal Hell. Buddhism is compassionate, even if it is a sentient being who has fallen into hell, there is also the king of the earth and the Bodhisattva who is there to save them. But if you don't want to repent and don't want to go back, then the Buddha himself can't be saved.
The six-character name of "Nan no Amitabha Buddha" is the dharani mantra of the Pure Land Sect, and it is the mantra within the mantra. "Amitabha" is the name of the Buddha of the Western Elysium, and the person is called "Amitabha Buddha in the south", no matter how good or bad he is, he has planted a good "Vajra seed" in the heart of the other party, and as long as the opportunity comes, this seed in his heart will grow. And he often recites these six-character names, and when he reads them, he will not only be able to "destroy the eight billion catastrophes of life and death", but he will also be reborn in the Elysian World at the end of his life.

It's the same as the Buddha and the Bodhisattva!
Our Chinese characters are the crystallization of a high degree of wisdom! The word "think" can be used to explain cause and effect, and the top is "phase" and the bottom is "mind". It means that no matter what is good, evil, beautiful or ugly, joy, anger, sorrow, etc., it is born from the heart!
In other words, there is nothing good or bad without a heart! Got it! When we encounter good things, we will not be greedy, because it is the phase in our hearts!
That is, I want to! That is, thoughts! When we encounter something bad, we won't be resentful, because it's still the same thing in our hearts!
Therefore, there is no difference between good and evil, beauty and ugliness, etc., that is to say, the true heart is formless, that is, the emptiness that Buddhism says! Because once you think that the heart has a form, it must be a certain appearance, a certain thought, a certain thought! It's back to the picture, and the confusion is reversed!
If you want to prove your sincerity! Just chant the Buddha! Replace all the appearances, or thoughts, or thoughts, with Amitabha!
