1. The selection of the step angle.
The step angle of the motor depends on the requirements of the load accuracy, the minimum resolution (equivalent) of the load is converted to the motor shaft, and how many angles (including deceleration) should be taken by each equivalent motor. The step angle of the motor should be equal to or less than this angle. At present, the step angle of stepper motors on the market generally has degrees (five-phase motors), degrees (two-phase and four-phase motors), degrees of 3 degrees (three-phase motors), etc.
2. Selection of static moment.
The dynamic torque of the stepper motor is difficult to determine all of a sudden, and we often determine the static torque of the motor first. The static moment is selected based on the load under which the motor works, and the load can be divided into two types: inertial load and friction load. A single inertial load and a single frictional load do not exist.
When starting directly (generally by low speed) when the two kinds of load are considered, the inertial load is mainly considered when accelerating starting, and the friction load is only considered when running at constant speed. Under normal circumstances, the static moment should be 2-3 times of the friction load, once the static moment is selected, the base and length of the motor can be determined (how many sizes).
3. Selection of current.
The operating characteristics of motors with the same static torque are very different due to different current parameters, and the current of the motor (refer to the driving power supply and driving voltage) can be judged according to the torque frequency characteristic curve diagram.
4. Torque and power conversion.
Stepper motor is generally used in a wide range of speed regulation, its power is changing, generally only measured by torque, torque and power conversion is as follows: p= m =2 ·n 60 p=2 nm 60, where p is the power unit is watts, is the angular velocity per second, the unit is radian, n is the speed per minute, m is the moment unit is Newton·m P=2 fm 400 (half-step work), where f is the number of pulses per second (pps).
