How to practice and accumulate merit.

Hello dear, the secret of cultivation lies in the six "points": one more humility, one more piety, one more prostration, one more offering, one more charity, and one more benevolence. If one can stick to these six "points" and accumulate them over time, the merits made by the practitioner will be immeasurable like the sand of the Ganges. If we can stick to these six "points", we will be able to sow good roots, eliminate negative karma, open up the wisdom of our own mind, and achieve consummation.

Every aspect of life and work is a dharma, and working wholeheartedly to create harmony and bring joy to all living beings is a kind of spiritual practice.

For example, giving is the greatest cause for accumulating good fortune.

True generosity is not about how much you give, but about having a pious and compassionate heart. The act of comparing the amount of money given to others is actually very unlawful. It is important to understand that the more money you give, the more good fortune you will accumulate.

The giving of the Dharma is not about the amount of money, but the real charity is actually a person's compassionate and kind heart!

There are three kinds of charity in Buddhism

The first is financial charity. It is to selflessly give their own money or goods to the poor people in need according to their own conditions, and solve their material difficulties.

The second is Dharma giving, which is the use of Dharma knowledge gained through practice to educate sentient beings. He does his best to guide sentient beings who are not familiar with the Dharma, and uses the wisdom of the Dharma to guide them out of their troubles and foolishness. The more zealous you are, the more wisdom you will increase, and Dharma giving is the source of wisdom.

The third is to serve fearlessly and give generously, which is to use one's all-round abilities: inner spirit, external financial resources, knowledge, wisdom and speech, etc., to soothe others when they are in distress, urgency, and pain, so that people can relax and stabilize their body and mind, get rid of fear, and stay away from misfortune. Fearless generosity is the protection of sentient beings both physically and mentally.

The reward of fearless generosity is health and longevity, and happiness will last forever!

Don't always think about almsgiving, in order to reciprocate the good. Those who give with self-interest do not increase wisdom and do not produce merit. If the Dharma is giving, the heart is pure and undisturbed, and it is not tainted with any selfish intentions, which is the real merit and can accumulate supreme blessings.

The merit of merit is the kung fu of cultivation, and virtue is the virtue of nature; Gong is the precept, virtue is wisdom, and the teachings of the Buddhas of the three worlds are the precepts and wisdom. Emperor Wu of Liang built 480 temples with the state's financial resources and sent hundreds of thousands of monks, but Patriarch Dharma said that there was no merit.

Cultivation is to break the troubles and dust and ignorance, virtue is the imitation of the first wisdom in the nature, and it is the merit that can achieve life and death, go out of the three realms, and attain Bodhi. Merit includes merit, there is no merit in merit, there is no wisdom in blessedness, and there is blessing in wisdom; Cultivating blessings is merit if you don't look at it, doing something is merit, and doing nothing is merit.

To put it simply, doing good deeds and not taking them to heart is called accumulating merit. Doing bad people and bad deeds is not called accumulating merit and teaching sinful karma. If everyone does their own duty, it is not necessarily to accumulate merit, but if you do your own duty, you only think that you are doing it for others and for the public, and if you don't do it for yourself at all, it is called accumulating merit.
