Fang La, the leader of the peasant uprising in Zhejiang at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, also known as Fang Thirteen, was a native of Qingxi, Muzhou (now west of Chunyu Zhi'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province), and was originally from She County (now She County, Anhui), and was born as a hired laborer.
