If you can t keep the vows purely, can you recite the Buddha and die?

It's best to be able to keep the vows, and if you can't, you can also die, because the most important thing in passing away is to make a wish, and if you have a firm will, you can die. However, if a person is lost in breaking the vows, he will inevitably have insufficient faith. Therefore, we still have to devote ourselves to surviving in the West, and we will be reborn in the Pure Land with compassion and compassion, and we will definitely be able to die if we devote all our energy to it.

You can't keep the pure vows, but you have to do as much as you can, do as much as you can, and do what you can.

Question: If I can't keep the vows purely, can I recite the Buddha and pass away? A:

Theoretically! In the "Sutra of Meditation", the following people are all people who have no precepts, break the vows, and create sins and recite the Buddha at the end of their lives. However, it requires strong karma (for the cultivation of the Pure Land in previous lifetimes) and supporting conditions (having good knowledge around you at the end of your life).

It is safer to keep the vows + chant the Buddha when you have time.

Question: Nowadays, there are pedestrians who promote the Pure Land, saying that they can pass away without having to study the sutras and teachings, or take the precepts, or even cultivate the ten good karma. Is this true?

Venerable Da'an replied: Promoting the Dharma is a solemn matter, and it is related to the Dharma body and wisdom of sentient beings. The Buddha said that the Dharma is both rational and reasonable, and it is not possible to deal with waste things, nor can it be deluded by deacons, and reason and things must be harmonious.

For example, if you have full conviction and earnest wishes, you will hold on to this name, and it will be decided that the Buddha will be led to the Pure Land of Rebirth on his deathbed. Li Zhuzen, but if it is said that it is not necessary to recite only one sentence of the name, it is not necessary to study the scriptures and laws, and to keep the precepts, then it is biased.

The Pure Land Method is the same as all the Dharmas, such as the precepts of wisdom, the six ten thousand actions, and the three blessings of pure karma. Amitabha Buddha also took vows in the cause and ground, and also practiced the six ten thousand actions. We should always follow Buddhism and follow our strength.

Although we cannot attain the purity of Buddhahood, we should do our best to do so, which is why it is indispensable to keep the vows. If I think that Amitabha Buddha's great compassion can cause sinners who are rebellious and evil to die, then I can recklessly create the sins of the five rebelliousness and ten evils, and I can die anyway, if I understand it, then Daigo will become poison.

In our daily life, we should practice the three blessings of pure karma. The Three Blessings of Pure Karma talk about cultivating the ten good karmas, so how can it be said that there is no need to cultivate the ten good karmas? The second blessing of the three blessings of pure karma is to receive the three fibers and return to the middle of the three fibers, to have sufficient precepts, and not to commit prestige, that is, to talk about the issue of holding the precepts.

Therefore we are to do what we say in accordance with the Word, and we are to learn the Scriptures and Vinaya as we please. Master Shandao proposed that the solution should be broadly understood, and the line should be single-minded, and you should specifically recite the name of Amitabha Buddha, which is the right line, and it is advisable to go deep and not be mixed. However, a practitioner of pure karma who recites the Mahayana scriptures, such as the Lengyan Sutra, the Huayan Sutra, and the Lotus Sutra, and uses this recitation to return to the Pure Land of Bliss for rebirth, is also a pure karma practice.

Whether reciting the Buddha is long or long, each person has different karma and good roots. But no matter how long he recites the Buddha, as long as he has full faith, he can pass away. The Sutra on Amitayus says that when he is dying, when he is about to die, he encounters good knowledge and talks to him about the Pure Land Method, and when he encounters the Pure Land Method at the end of his life, he can also die by reciting the Buddha, and it is not a question of how long he recites the Buddha.

If he had foreseen the time when he was dying, and he had enough faith to be named, he would have died. It doesn't matter if there is anyone to help with the recitation, because the matter of passing away is the result of the inductive relationship between the person who recites the Buddha and Amitabha, and the recitation is a good karma, but it does not play a decisive role.

When we look at the "Pure Land Sages", many of the deceased did not help them, didn't they still die? No one helps to recite it, but Amitabha knows and sees, as long as you have the heart in your heart to die, Amitabha Buddha will know.

Amitabha Buddha wastes no time in saving sentient beings, he has the ability, he can shine, he has all kinds of ways to keep us mindful of the past life, so that our consciousness can go to the lotus platform. For this, one must believe in Amitabha. He doesn't give up on the sentient beings who are chanting Buddha, he catches you, he doesn't let you slip through the net, he doesn't give up on you, so you don't have to worry.

Knowing that the time is coming, and being able to believe in the Buddha, you will definitely be able to go to the Western Elysium. As a child, you can also do some Buddha deeds, and recite the Buddha more during his 49 days to dedicate to him, so that he can increase the taste of his past life.
