This couplet was written in response to Li Dongyang's childhood interactions. Shanglian was produced by others, and deliberately used the "yang" in Li Dongyang's name and the "qi" after it to form "yang" (i.e., spring), so that the meaning of the union became: spring is warm in the east of Li Shu.

The next link is against Li Dongyang, and it also borrows the "Hui" in the Spring and Autumn Period in the Lu State Doctor Liuxia Hui Mingning and the "wind" behind it to form "Hui Feng" (that is, the wind, which can also be interpreted as a breeze here), so that the joint meaning becomes: the breeze under the willow forest and. The words "yang" and "hui" are both both.

This couplet was inscribed by Zheng Banqiao in the Qing Dynasty. The "three uniques" are the general description, and the "poems", "books" and "paintings" are the sub-descriptions: this is the first total and then the sub-division.

The general section of the sub-division is usually summarized by numbers, as is the case in the first two sections. Sometimes numbers don't work well, so they can be summed up in words that imply quantities.

The question of the artistic technique of the couplet is, so to speak, the rhetorical question of the couplet. The rhetoric of couplets is essentially no different from the rhetoric of ordinary poetry. However, because the couplet itself has its own characteristics, some techniques commonly used in poetry are not commonly used or even unavailable in the couplet; And what is commonly used in couplets may not be used much in poetry.

Even though it is commonly used in poems and couplets, it is often distinctive when used in couplets. Therefore, when talking about the artistic technique of couplets, we can only talk about the reality of the couplets themselves, and we cannot simply copy the general rhetorical theory. The techniques discussed below are summarized from specific couplets.

The artistic skills of couplets can be roughly divided into two aspects: the skill of word choice and the skill of sentence formation. I say "roughly" because some couplets use techniques that say that they are word choice from one point of view, and that they may be sentence groups from another point of view. In particular, it is common for a couplet to use multiple techniques, and it is unlikely that the line will be drawn clearly.
