Profession: Astronomer and mathematician.
Nationality: Poles Why are they famous: Copernicus was also an astronomer, mathematician and physician.
However, it was precisely because of the formation of his heliocentric theory, that the planets revolve around the sun, that he was most revered. Copernicus developed this theory throughout his life by studying in Poland and Italy, reading the classics, and his own astrological observations. Later, it was all seen with the naked eye.
His theories were finally published in 1543, the year of his death, and became known as the "Sphere of Revolution".

Nikolai Copernicus (Polish: nikolajkopernik; 19 February 1473 – 24 May 1543, aged 70) was a Polish Renaissance astronomer, mathematician, doctor of canon law, and priest.
At the age of 40, Copernicus proposed heliocentrism, which denied the authority of the Church and changed man's view of nature and himself.
At that time, the Roman Catholic Church believed that his heliocentric theory violated the Bible, but Copernicus still believed in heliocentrism, and believed that heliocentrism did not contradict it, and after many years of observation and calculation, he completed his great work "Theory of the Movement of the Heavenly Bodies".
Copernicus's "heliocentrism" corrected people's view of the universe. Copernicus was a giant of the European Renaissance. He devoted his life to the study of astronomy, leaving a legacy for future generations.
Copernicus' remains were reburied on May 22, 2010 at the Cathedral in Ronbourg, Poland.

Analysis: The life of Copernicus.
Copernicus was born on February 19, 1473, into a merchant family in the city of Toruń-sur-Vistula in western Poland. There were four brothers and sisters in the family, and Copernicus was the youngest. When he was 10 years old, his father died, and his uncle Lucas took on the responsibility of raising him.
From 1491 to 1495, Copernicus entered the University of Krakow to study. Krakow was the capital of Poland at the time, and it was also the largest ** and cultural center in Eastern Europe, where many international students studied. Because it is located in the main traffic center of Eastern and Western Europe, it was influenced by the Italian Renaissance relatively early.
Thus in this old university there was a fierce struggle between the ideas of the emerging bourgeois humanism and the scholasticism of the decaying feudal church. Influenced by advanced humanist ideas, Copernicus planted in his heart the seeds of a challenge to scholasticism. Here he met Professor Brudzewski, a mathematician and astronomer who had a profound influence on his life.
It was the enlightenment of this oak professor that prompted Copernicus to dedicate his life to astronomical science.
In 1496 Copernicus went to Italy to study, where he studied law, astronomy, mathematics, theology and medicine at the Universities of Bologna, Padua and Ferrara, where he also learned Greek. In 1503, Copernicus received a doctorate in canon law.
In 1497, Copernicus was appointed priest of Val Semimia. After 1510, he successively engaged in management and diplomacy. He was a brilliant economist and wrote the book "The General Theory of Money".
He was the first economist in modern times to put forward the theory that bad money will eliminate good money. Copernicus was a skilled doctor, he used his spare time to practice medicine, treating the poor for free, and was a well-known doctor, known as the "miracle doctor". Copernicus was also an excellent mathematician, and in the appendix to his magnum opus, On the Motions of the Heavenly Bodies, he published his spherical trigonometry**.
Copernicus was also a great patriot, and when the Teutonic Knights invaded Poland in a frenzy, he rose up to defend his homeland. In 1519, when the Teutonic Knights invaded, all the monks in the Elmenrand region were frightened away, but he bravely organized and led the people of Olzdin to fight back against the invaders, and after five days and five nights of fierce fighting, finally repelled the enemy's attack.
Although Copernicus was always busy, he always kept a cool head and focused on the study of astronomy. In 1515, Copernicus began writing his book The Movement of the Heavenly Bodies. In 1525, Anna, Copernicus's former housekeeper, fell in love with the great scientist, and despite the gossip of others, she came to Copernicus, who was deprived of the right to marry by the Church.
Thanks to her meticulous care and help, the writing of the book "Theory of the Movement of the Heavenly Bodies" was carried out smoothly.
On May 24, 1543, the great Polish scientist Nicolaus Copernicus died.

Little Copernicus, local magazines, most of the content is copied from the Internet, there is a lack of moderation mechanisms, especially typos, wrong sentences, everywhere, without its own professional stuff (and professional team). Not recommended.
And "Copernican revolution" is the same meaning.
1.Kant boasted that he had made a "Copernican revolution" in philosophy, that is, his philosophical achievements were equivalent to Copernicus's astronomical research. >>>More
The great playwright and poet of the English Renaissance, and the master of the humanist literature of the European Renaissance. Most of his plays are based on existing materials such as historical records, **, folklore and old scripts, and he injects his own ideas into the rewriting, giving novel, rich and profound content to the old themes, reflecting the historical reality of the transition from feudal society to capitalist society, and propagating the humanitarian ideas and humanistic views of the emerging bourgeoisie. On the one hand, he extensively borrowed from ancient dramas, English medieval dramas and emerging European culture and arts, and on the other hand, he deeply observed life, understood society, and grasped the pulse of the times, so that Shakespeare was able to create many lifelike characters, depict a broad and colorful picture of social life, and make him famous for his characteristics of blending joy and sorrow, poetry and imagination, unity in contradictions and changes, and rich in life philosophy and critical spirit. >>>More
