How to set the properties of a block and find it in CAD

Write the block via the quick connect key w+space.

1. Click the [Drawing] command in the menu bar, select [Troubled Definition Property] in [Block], and the [Attribute Definition] dialog box will pop up.

2. Set the options in the dialog box as follows.

3. After the setting is completed, click on the screen to determine the position of the parameters.

4. Click the [Wang Shidan Create Block] command in the left shortcut command, and the [Block Definition] dialog box will pop up, and name it Roughness.

5. Click the [Pick Point] button in the dialog frame and select a point as the base point for insertion.

6. Click the [Select Object] button in the dialog frame, select all objects on the screen, press the Enter key, click [OK], and add the attribute definition.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. First, open CAD and draw a circle with a radius of 10. As shown in the image below, then proceed to the next step.

2. Secondly, click [Drawing] on the upper menu bar, as shown in the figure below, and then enter the next step.

3. Then, in the third round, a drop-down option pops up after clicking, click on the "Block" option, and then click on the "Define Properties" option, see the image below, and then go to the next step.

4. Finally, after completing the above steps, enter the attributes, text settings and text height, and then enter them as you need, see the figure below. In this way, the problem is solved.

If you want to text, you can directly double-click on the attribute block, and if you want to change the attribute of the original block, command "bedit".

Double-click the block directly, and the property window will pop up, and you can modify it as needed.

With the block selected, right-click - Properties(s).

If you want to change the block, you can select it, right-click on the blocker or the block in place.

CAD ignores the properties of the block when referencing a block, so it cannot be modified.

Anyone who uses CAD knows about blocks, because they can be inserted repeatedly and made into a gallery, reducing repetitive operations, and are widely used. However, I found that there are many beginners, and even some people who have been using CAD for a long time, do not know what an attribute block is, and do not know much about the function and definition method of a property block.

What is an attribute block?

To put it simply, the attribute block epoch is to attach some text attributes to the tile, which can be easily modified. The attribute block is widely used in engineering design and mechanical design, and the attribute block will be used in engineering design to design shaft numbers, doors and windows, plumbing and electrical equipment, etc., and will be applied to roughness symbol customization, frame title bar, schedule and so on in mechanical design. For example, the axis number in an architectural drawing is the same block, but the attribute values can be respectively and so on, as shown in the following figure.

How to create a property block in CAD.

With attribute blocks, we can define a similar graph as a tile, and adjust the display of the tile by changing the properties.

The creation of attribute blocks is very simple, just add the required attribute text on top of the normal block. The basic steps are as follows:

1. Draw the geometry contained in the block.

2. Create one and multiple attribute text, menu: Drawing >> Block >> define attributes, and then the dialog box shown in the following figure will pop up:

The main parameters of this dialog are: tags, hints, and metan hail recognition values. A tag is a tag, for example, this property is used to indicate height, you can enter height; The hint is the prompt that appears when you insert this tile, for example you can write:

Please enter the height; Default is the default value for this property.

After defining these three parameters, you can determine the height of the text according to your needs, and determine the position of the attribute insertion in the diagram. As for other parameters, such as whether it is visible, whether it is a fixed value, whether to use multiple lines of text, whether to use fields, etc., these are up to you, and you can generally ignore them.

A tile can have multiple properties, for example, a rectangle can have two properties, length and width, and a frame's title bar can have more than a dozen properties.

1. First of all, open AutoCAD

2013 software and import CAD block drawings as shown in the following figure, and then move on to the next step.

2. Secondly, after completing the above steps, double-click the block with the mouse to enter the Mori Tachibana block definition setting bar, click the [OK] button to enter the block interface, as shown in the figure below, and then enter the next step.

3. Then, after completing the above steps, according to the block pattern, click the [Save Block Definition] - Close Blocker] option according to the following picture, and then enter the next step.

4. Finally, after completing the above steps, it can be seen that the operation of the block has been successfully completed at this time, as shown in the following figure. In this way, the problem is solved.

The specific steps are as follows:
