Dot matrix printers only print half because the printhead rails will dry out after a long period of sliding.
The print head guide of the dot matrix printer will dry out if it slides for a long time, and the print head will be hindered when it moves, and the printing will stop to a certain extent. It will affect the printing effect, you can apply a few drops of instrument oil on the printing rail, and move the print head back and forth to make it evenly distributed. After restarting, if there is still a blockage, it may be that the drive circuit is burned out and needs to be repaired.
Workaround for printer ribbon failure:
1. The ribbon is broken.
The tension of the ribbon is too large, and the ribbon breaks due to the breaking of the suture or the word hammer breaks the ribbon. In the former case, the fractured part can be cut off and re-sutured; In the latter case, it is sufficient to replace the ribbon.
2. The ribbon is stuck.
The edge of the ribbon is detached and fluffy, and it is easy to entangle the ribbon wheel, resulting in the ribbon wheel being stuck. The solution is: first open the printer cover, open the ribbon arm and the hammer row interlocking handle, gently pull the ribbon back at the tape feeding end of the ribbon box, then close the ribbon arm and the hammer row interlocking handle, turn on the power, and the ribbon will be loaded back into the ribbon box after the machine self-test.
3. The Hall effector is damaged.
With frequent cassette tapes, the Hall effector is constantly squeezed, and then the balance stove is damaged and broken. This fault can only be replaced by the ribbon swivel arm assembly or with a ribbon motion sensor. <>

The printing machine is normal at the beginning, and it fails to print halfway through printing, so it should be analyzed in several situations.
The first case: it may be that the foreign object is hindering the lateral movement of the print head, which is accompanied by a strong abnormal noise, and the solution only needs to remove the foreign object.
The second situation: the printer driver is abnormal, this situation usually occurs in the previous computer use abnormal shutdown of the system or file loss, the solution requires a certain system knowledge, by removing the current driver, reinstall the machine driver.
The third situation: the printing material is too thick, the printing height of the print head is unreasonable, the ribbon is loose, etc., the solution needs to be patient and careful, because the processing of the ribbon needs to be cautious, if the installation is unreasonable, similar situations will occur again, so it is necessary to straighten out the ribbon after installation. At the same time, the printing material must match, and the height setting of the printing material by the printer must also correspond.
The fourth situation: it is the transmission system of your printer that is abnormal or malfunctioning, such as the belt is too loose, the parts that fix the print head fall off, the transmission wheel is defective, etc., this situation usually needs to be solved by professional maintenance technicians, do not solve it yourself, because the parts of the printer are easy to be missing.
Kelip has a category of printing equipment, there will be some common sense science, you can usually contact customer service to see more and ask more, so that there will be no panic when there is a problem.

Is it like this every time?
Remove the device, then reinstall the printer driver and try again.

Generally, half of the printer prints, and the last half does not print because the printer memory is insufficient.
To solve your problem, you can start from the following aspects.
1. Consult the Epson printer customer service center and questions about the printer's memory.
Customer service hours.
800-810-9977 (toll-free).
or 010-8201-2626 Mon-Fri 8:30-18:00 (except national holidays).
2.Go to BIOS and set the LPT interface mode to EPP ECP to ensure parallel port compatibility.
3.Go to the printer in the control panel, right-click on the 210 printer, in Properties, select Advanced Change the relevant settings for using spooling, such as change to directly connect to the printer or change to Start printing now, etc., and then print a test page to see.
The problem of connection should also be checked, but generally after connection, either it can be printed or it can't be printed, and it is rare that half of the printing is not printed.

It may be that the nozzle is clogged, try cleaning it.
-
The sensor on the side of the print head is broken. Or the paper is set up incorrectly.
-
It is beyond the scope of system support.
Here's what I did for reference:
LQ670K+T VAT setting Move right to set 20, paper selection aerospace information Adjust the printing software down to 4 to 3 to the right, and the paper to the right.
1. Try to restore factory settings, first turn off the power of the printer, then press and hold the "high speed" and "paper cutting passbook" at the same time, press and hold the two keys at the same time, then turn on the power of the printer, and let go when you see the light on the control panel of the printer.
2. First turn off the power of the printer, then press and hold "Pause" and "Cut Passbook" at the same time, press and hold the two keys at the same time, and then turn on the power of the printer. The printer made a dripping sound and let go to play while out. After the printer made two beep sounds, let go and hit while entering.
According to this method, it is adjusted to play while entering.
3. Press and hold the pause button for 6 seconds when the printer is turned on, the pause light flashes at high speed, press the paper entry and exit button to move right 20 times, and press the pause button after adjustment. Press the line break key to move left, and press the advance and retract paper to move right. This command is only useful if you are fighting and advancing.
If it is to fight while going out, this command is useless.
The problem is very simple, that is, you change the printer from two prints to one print, and generally the dot matrix printer goes twice, so that the printer's things are very clear, but the speed will be very slow. You can change the printer settings to not print at high speed, which is fast, but not clear. Generally, there is a high-speed button on the printer, and you can press it black.
It is recommended that you go to the official driver life**,Open the driver**page,In the printer options,Find the model of Epson printer,Open the following will list the drivers of each operating system,**Install it;
The previous ink dried, blocking the inkjet part.
Epsen ME1 printer comes with the driver does not support win98 system, you go online next.
The printhead needs to be cleaned up, see if there is an option in the printer preferences to clean the printhead.
