The Buddha Says Amitayus Sutra has been translated from India several times, so there are several translated versions. Later, some great masters of Buddhism compiled these translations into one, which is called "The Buddha Says Mahayana Amitayus Solemn Pure and Equal Enlightenment Sutra", which is a collection of books.
However, today's Buddhist circles do not advocate the "Buddha Says Mahayana Amitayus, Solemn, Pure and Equal Enlightenment Sutra". The reason is that for thousands of years, for the authenticity of the transmission of Buddhist scriptures, no one is allowed to change the word of Buddhist scriptures, and this collection is changed, although this collection is very good, many monks recognize, we have no problem reading and learning. However, in order to warn future generations not to alter the Buddhist scriptures, the Buddhist community does not advocate this practice.
If later generations sort out and synthesize the Buddhist scriptures, it is okay to call them "treatises", and the "scriptures" are said by the Buddha himself, and there are no changes, only this "Buddha Says Mahayana Amitayus Solemn Pure and Equal Enlightenment Sutra" is an exception, so everyone has a controversy over the version.

There are 12 translations of the Sutra of Amitayus, of which only 5 have survived to this day.
These five translations have been brought together to form a new version, which is called: The Buddha said that the Mahayana Amitayus Solemn Pure and Equal Enlightenment Sutra.
A similar phenomenon is also the theory of consciousness.
Initially, there were 10 versions, and later, Master Xuanzang brought these 10 theories together to form a new theory, called "Cheng Consciousness".

In other words, cause and effect refers to a karmic vortex in which the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas guide sentient beings out of the downward karmic vortex into the upward majestic, pure vortex of cause and effect.
Cause and effect is not an inevitable effect, it is an inevitable force, and this force can be broken through reason, reason, that is, the wisdom of the Dharma, so that when sentient beings receive this force, they will no longer continue to circulate downward in the direction of their force, but gradually turn to the good causes, leaving the downward karmic vortex and entering another upward karmic vortex.
