General Manager: Mainly responsible for the overall operation, selecting the plan, and playing a core role. Responsible to the chairman (board of directors) for daily work; Deputy Manager (also known as the legendary Vice President):
The main job is to be responsible for the operation of most areas, so as to assist the general manager, and the daily work is responsible to the general manager; Next is the manager of each department (some local hotels will set up several directors on the head of the department manager, I don't agree with this approach for the time being, so we don't mention it) As the name suggests, the department manager is naturally responsible for the operation of their respective departments. The department's expenses, costs, and some of the larger decisions have to go through the general manager. The general manager is responsible for the day-to-day work.
How you want to assign these department managers depends on the size of the department. Generally, star-rated hotels have several items: front hall hospitality, sauna, foot bath, spa and spa (these can be collectively referred to as health centers or leisure centers), Chinese and Western food, KTV, chess and card entertainment gym, and accommodation.
Then several departments can be extended: the front hall (lobby), the health center, the catering department (Chinese and Western food are recommended to be separated), the entertainment department (KTV), and the housekeeping department (accommodation). These are all front-line departments, and they are all directly serving customers.
In addition, there is a security department, a personnel administration department (responsible for the recruitment, resignation and recording of personnel files of hotel employees), a finance department, an audit department, a purchasing department and a warehouse management department. These are all departments that are prevalent in hotels. These are all manager-level above, and then below the department manager there is also the supervisor - the minister - the foreman.
Supervisor: Responsible for supervising the work of the department staff, assisting the manager, and responsible for the department manager in daily work. Minister:
Responsible for supervising the work of the employees of the department, leading the employees, assisting the supervisor, and being responsible for the supervisor in daily work. Foreman: lead the staff well, play a good supervisory role, and be responsible for the minister's daily work.
