At the same time, he has published more than 50 academic articles and special articles in newspapers and magazines such as "China's Great Power Status and Its Contribution to the Establishment of the United Nations", "The World Needs the United Nations", and "The Rise and Fall of the United Nations Depends on the Future of the World".
The History of the United Nations has won the first prize of the 3rd Beijing Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award (1994), the first prize of the 1st Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award of the State Education Commission (1995), and the third prize of the National Social Science ** Project Outstanding Achievement Award (1999). The book "Fifty Years of the United Nations" (Revised Edition) has been recommended by the Department of Social Affairs of the Ministry of Education as one of the 42 major achievements in humanities and social sciences research in colleges and universities in China since the reform and opening up, and the results are introduced into the book "Selected Cases of Major Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Colleges and Universities (1)" edited by the Department (published by Beijing Normal University Press in June 1999).

Male, born in January 1936, native of Haicheng, Liaoning Province, professor of Beijing Language and Culture University. He graduated from Peking University in 1960 with a major in world history. He has taught at China Foreign Affairs University and our university, and has been engaged in teaching and research on contemporary international relations and United Nations issues for a long time.
Professor Li Tiecheng was awarded the honorary titles of "Beijing Outstanding Teacher" (1989) and "Two Courses" (Politics and Moral Education) by the Beijing Municipality and the State Education Commission (1997). From 1990 to 2004, he independently completed, was responsible for and participated in five "Seventh Five-Year Plan", "Eighth Five-Year Plan" and "Ninth Five-Year Plan" of the Ministry of Education and devoted to the study of key and general topics of United Nations issues. At the same time, he also completed two projects, "U.S.-China Relations and the United Nations" and "Research on Chinese Civil Servants in the United Nations", funded by the Ford Association of the United States and the United Nations Staff Publishing in China.

He was straightforward and open-minded, decent and arrogant, enthusiastic and sincere to his friends, and lived a simple life, with nothing but books at home. Whether it is Mr.'s writings, dictionaries, or calligraphy and paintings, all of them contain philosophical wisdom and profound literary cultivation, revealing the love and speculation for life, society and nature, which is thought-provoking.
