Fat Yan Zhai re-evaluates the best stone Ji Gengchen school book.
Gengchen is a version that is closer to the original. A large number of lipid batches have been preserved, with signature numbers. Among them, the number of years and months is far more than it should be, and it is extremely valuable for research.
The title of "Fat Yan Zhai Complete Commentary on the Stone Record" should be based on various versions - Jiashu Edition, Gengchen Edition, and Qi Preface Edition, which may all be available, and a relatively complete lipid batch version is arranged. However, the characteristics of each version are confused, which is not conducive to research.

It depends on what you focus on.
Gengchen is the closest version to Cao Xueqin's period, and it is also considered to be the closest to the original, or even the most authentic. Fat Yan Zhai, Tera Wat Sue and others should all be Cao's friends before his death, and they talked about the gathering and knew a lot about Dream of Red Mansions. If you re-write the original (Cao Zhu Red Mansion), then this version is good.
Qi Xuben, I can only talk about it from memory. I remember that Cheng Gaoben's Red Mansion was the earliest copy of this edition--- which was verified in an article.

Fat Yan Zhai re-evaluation of the stone Ji Gengchen school book is better, it is published by the writer's publishing house mentioned in your question, I have a set. As for the specific benefits, there are many on the Internet, so I won't go into them all. The preface of the writer's publishing house's "Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of the Stone Ji Gengchen School Book" has made the difference between the Gengchen book and the Qi preface book very clear, you can refer to it.

Personally, I like "Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of Stone Ji Gengchen School Book".

"Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of the Stone Record" (Gengchen Ben) is also known as Fat Jingben. The original title of the book is "Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of Stone Records", and the frontispiece of each volume is marked with "Fat Yan Zhai Fan Four Reading and Commenting". The cover book titles of volumes 5 to 8 are "Gengchen Autumn Moon Definitive Edition" or "Gengchen Autumn Definitive Edition", hence the name Gengchen Edition.
Gengchen's original book is quite early, the appearance is the most complete, preserving Cao Xueqin's original text "Dream of Red Mansions" and more than 2,000 comments on the Yan Zhai, almost all of the names of the year and month in the fat batch exist in the Gengchen book, so the version is the most valuable and the most precious. In 1933, Hu Shi saw this manuscript from Xu Xingshu, the son of Xu Hao, and wrote a long article "Baqianlong Gengchen's book "Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of the Stone Record" banknote". In the summer of 1948, Yenching University purchased books from the Xu family and became a collection of books in the library of Peking University.

The school book of the Stone Ji Gengchen is the most complete and most authentic preservation of the original appearance of Cao Xueqin's original manuscript of the 11 kinds of "Dream of Red Mansions" in the existing manuscript, which was discovered by Mr. Xu Xingzhi in Longfu Temple in Beijing in 1932 and collected by Chunxi, and later bequeathed to the library of Yenching University, which is now in the library of Peking University. This book and Mr. Hu Shih's 1927 discovery and collection of buried Jiazhu (fragments) can be called a double gem, belongs to the national cultural relics and documents. Today, according to the three photocopies published in 1955 and published by the People's Literature Publishing House, the three photocopies are proof-typeset (and checked according to the originals), and the original and the relevant materials on the photocopies are also included.

This book is the first revised edition published in China to comprehensively reflect the original appearance of the Gengchen version of "The Dream of the Red Mansion" (including its fat criticism).
The biggest difference between this book and the popular editions of Dream of Red Mansions published in the past is that it is strictly edited and typeset according to the original appearance of the final version of Cao Xueqin during her lifetime. Not only can you appreciate the true style of the author's original version, but you can also directly provoke Jian to taste the more than 2,100 precious comments left by the author's "confidante" Fat Yanzhai on Gengchen's original (most of which are different from the criticisms of the previous Jiaxu school book published in this book), which has a unique value of artistic appreciation, academic research and edition collection.
The revision of this book has made a major breakthrough in clarifying the original source of the text of Dream of Red Mansions (including the fat criticism), which deserves the attention of people from all walks of life.

"Jiazhu Ben": The title "The Stone Records of the Re-evaluation of the Fat Yan Zhai", which was purchased by Hu Shi in Shanghai in 1927 and stored in the Cornell University Library after Hu Shi's death in 1962, and is now being acquired by the Shanghai Museum.1 This book only survives the first to the eighth, the thirteenth to the sixteenth, the twenty-fifth to the twenty-eighth, a total of sixteen, and there are many pages missing.
This is the earliest surviving manuscript of Dream of the Red Chamber, but this manuscript is early in the sense that the manuscript is based on the earliest. In the first chapter of the book, the title of the book is described in the text, "To the fat Yan Zhai Jiaxu copied and re-commented, still use the "Stone Record", so the academic community has determined the age of the manuscript on which it is based, so it is referred to as "Jiazhuben".
Extraction code: xgrn Fat Yan Zhai Re-evaluation of Stone Records (2007 book published by Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House). It was in the early twenties of this century that "The Story of the Stone" (also known as "Dream of the Red Chamber", hereinafter referred to as "Dream of the Red Chamber") entered the study of early banknotes.
Fat Yan Zhai commented on Dream of Red Mansions, and there is a version of her review, which is the best (what my Chinese teacher said) In addition, it is rumored in the rivers and lakes that Fat Yan Zhai is Cao Xueqin's cousin, and it is also said that it is his wife (didn't people often marry cousins before, hehe) Anyway, Fat Yan Zhai accompanied Cao Xueqin to write Dream of Red Mansions. >>>More
Personally, I think B is wrong. You're a girl, aren't you? I don't think this kind of thing happens to boys, very rarely; For example, I am very good friends with me, the good ones are not good, we often have conflicts, but the two of us have discussed this issue, the other party's lover can only care, but must not be entangled after the woman makes a decision, or I like a person who knows about it, this is the most basic respect for people and themselves, and it is also the key to the longevity of friendship, in addition to their friendship is not strong. >>>More
Many red scholars have studied and believed that Yan Zhai is the prototype of Shi Xiangyun in the book.
