According to the celebrity list of Sina Weibo, the elite sample selected the top 100 Weibo celebrities in 9 fields of entertainment, media, literature, finance, fashion, technology, real estate, art, and education, and finally obtained the Weibo sentiment day data of 1,794 Weibo elites in the same period. Similar to the method of constructing the public microblog sentiment index, this study constructs six sentiment indices of microblogging elites in 9 fields.

The Granger causality test was used to test the leading and lagging relationship between the microblog sentiment index of the elite and the public.
