Generally speaking, Nirvana refers to the attainment of the "Buddha fruit", that is, the fruit position of "Buddha", which can be called "Nirvana". Sentient beings who have attained the status of "arhats" are only called "arhats" or "great arhats" and are not called nirvana. If you want to ask whether it is true to attain the status of "arhat", as far as I know, it is "not exactly".

The practice of arhats is biased towards "breaking off emptiness", they can enter into countless eons of meditation, stay away from greed, hatred, ignorance, suspicion, evil opinions, jealousy, etc., which is equivalent to "taking a long vacation" and cultivating themselves behind closed doors, but when they meet due to fate, they will come out again, and there will still be self like people and sentient beings. There is a fixed entry and exit, and there is a portrait of me, so it is not exactly. Of course, this is from the practitioner's point of view, from the Buddha's point of view, that all living beings have the Buddha nature of the Buddha.

Arhat nirvana, bodhisattva nirvana, and nirvana are all the same nirvana, and together they are the bed of liberation, and wisdom and liberation are different. No matter how big it is, Hinayana is a method without leakage, and there is no two methods. Voluntarily set out to benefit sentient beings, and the bodhisattva's heart has no size.

Only the ability has size. Choose your favorite method or the method that suits you, and don't waste time on the long path of cultivation.

To put it simply, a surplus nirvana arhat is the state of having attained the fruit of an arhat, but not passing away (with a limited lifespan). There is no remnant of Nirvana, that is, attained at the time of death. He has been freed from birth and death, and has attained nirvana (non-birth).

Arhats are pure in body and mind, and ignorance and afflictions have been broken. He has been freed from birth and death, and has attained nirvana (non-birth).It is worthy of the respect of all people and the heavens to make offerings (should be offered). Before the end of his life, he still lives in the world and has few desires, precepts and purity, and educates the people according to fate.

    Arhat. Nirvana experienced.

The realm is called the "Surplus Nirvana Realm" because even though all the afflictions have been gone, the aggregates that have arisen from past attachments still exist. In the commentary, it is also called "the extinction of afflictions". The realm of nirvana attained at the time of the arhat's death is called the "boundless realm of nirvana" because of the aggregates.

It has been completely discarded, and there will be no more. In the commentary, it is also referred to as "the extinction of aggregates".

Let me first explain that cultivation is a matter of the present, not of the afterlife. Whether it is an arhat fruit or a Buddha position, it is achieved now, not after death!

1.Nirvana: Cool and silent, annoyance does not appear, and all sufferings are forever silent; It has the meaning of the middle way of not being born and not dying, not being dirty and not pure, not increasing or decreasing, and being far away from the same, birth and death, constant breaking, and non-existence. This realm cannot be described in words!

2.An arhat is a sage who has attained nirvana out of the cycle of birth and death, but has not attained Buddhahood.

3.Nirvana is immortal, so how can it die? Life and death are inherently an illusion! Don't ask that.

4.There are two kinds of nirvana, which are beyond the reach of ordinary people.

These questions of yours are not something that we can discuss in this realm! As long as you are still attached to the fruit and the realm and so on, you can't understand it, and you will only be troubled! Therefore, we can only go to enlightenment in person, not speak!

Nothing! It's a real name! In the realm of ordinary people, it is better not to argue this issue. so as not to mislead sentient beings and create sinful karma.

    Amitabha

Neither the Buddha nor the Great Bodhisattva have nirvana, and there are also arhats who live and practice in the world.

Old Master--- Actually, Shakyamuni Buddha does not have Nirvana, and the Bodhisattva is not born or destroyed, so how can the Buddha still be born and die? How can a Buddha have nirvana? No.

Entering Nirvana is spoken of to the middle and lower root people, and the middle and lower are below the bodhisattvas of shravaka, enlightenment, and power; Advanced bodhisattvas have neither birth and death, nor nirvana – the Mahayana sutras say that "there is no dwelling in nirvana", not dwelling in life and death, not dwelling in nirvana.

What is "Nirvana"? Nirvana is immortality. All the Dharma is immortal, there is no Dharma that is not perfect, the Dharma is harmonious, not only is the Dharma a perfect phase, but also the Dharma is a pure and extinguished phase, which is called Nirvana.

Transcending from the cycle of birth and death, and from now on there is no birth and death, it is called nirvana. Now people are mistaken, and they regard death as nirvana, which is a big mistake! If death is nirvana, does this nirvana still need to be cultivated?

It doesn't need to be repaired. So you have to know that nirvana is attained when you are alive, not when you are dead.

Nirvana means silence, silence; Buddha means wisdom and enlightenment. "Nirvana" and "Buddha" mean the same thing, "Nirvana" is in terms of body, and "Buddha" is in terms of use. Of course, there is a body to use, and the body must be useful, which understands that good causes and good effects must have wisdom, and without wisdom, it will not work.

Enlightened, play the role of Bodhi Nirvana; When you are lost, you play the role of life and death troubles every day.

In fact, the troubles of life and death are the same thing as Bodhi Nirvana, and they are all wonderful things. Enlightened, call it a name, Bodhi Nirvana; Lost, call it life and death troubles, just change the name, or that function. Enlightened, the feeling is incomparably free; Lost, that feeling is boundless pain, boundless sea of suffering!

The scriptures say that Shakyamuni Buddha appeared in our world, he lived to be 80 years old, and at the age of 30, he manifested the Tao and came out to preach the Dharma and benefit life, and at the age of 80 he entered Nirvana. In fact, Shakyamuni Buddha does not have nirvana, and the Bodhisattva is not born or destroyed, so how can the Buddha still be born and die? How can a Buddha have nirvana?

No. Entering Nirvana is spoken of to the middle and lower root people, and the middle and lower are below the bodhisattvas of shravaka, enlightenment, and power; Advanced bodhisattvas have neither birth and death, nor nirvana – the Mahayana sutras say that "there is no dwelling in nirvana", not dwelling in life and death, not dwelling in nirvana.

Nirvana is also translated as "round death", circle is perfection, and silence is pure silence. What is silence? There is no thought in my heart; Extinguish what?

Extinguish life and death, eliminate afflictions, extinguish ignorance, and eliminate evil views. The Buddha and the Great Bodhisattva have the retribution of Nirvana, how can this retribution come about? Cultivating the Tao, the Tao is the cause - the mind corresponds to the enlightenment of righteousness, so that we can enjoy the great nirvana.

Nirvana is only for time, it is indeed temporary, after it is achieved, it has different aspirations and intentions, especially the Bodhisattva and the Buddha's great wish must be to help all sentient beings achieve enlightenment, then they must continue to be reincarnated, in order to show sentient beings various identities to explain the Dharma, guide sentient beings to learn the Dharma, guide sentient beings to cultivate their bodies and minds, and so on, and even the high-level Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have the intention to be reincarnated dozens or hundreds of times, and this number is incalculable.

No, it is the ultimate fruit of Hinayana . He has not yet attained Buddhahood. It's time to turn to Dacheng. Cultivating the Bodhisattva Path.

  11. Anonymous users2024-01-26

Hello, it is also the end, in Nirvana, where there is no suffering and trouble, there is no afterlife.

Wisdom is round, obstacles are silent, and the mind is free from obstacles, and it is nirvana.
