3) Quotation of metaphors (metaphors), which in turn will help to establish the righteousness of the sect, and cite examples of the law that is commonly recognized by the world's long-cherished habits, so as to prove the infallibility of the cause.

4) The same kind, in the case of the metaphor, to show the similarity of the same kind.

5) Heterogeneity, in the introduction of metaphors, to show that heterogeneity is not similar.

6) Bare cognition, which is the one who is present, that is, those who are not contemplative, do not have illusions, but are directly aware of the abilities of the five senses.

7) Comparison, inferring unknown events from known knowledge.

8) Orthodoxy, which is proved by the words and teachings of all wise men. The seventh volume of the Asanga's Mahayana Abhidharma Treatise also reveals the same two theories of the eight abilities.
