Venerable Hui Teachings:
To have nothing to live in is to live in nothing. If you can stop everything, then you are in the realm of reality. Now that we have realized that there is no reality and nothing to gain, what ego, troubles, birth and death, and ignorance can we live in?
If you cling to it, you will fall into emptiness. Why? Know that the vacuum is not empty.
Why aren't the clouds empty? Ethereal gnosis, self-seeing. Where does the cloud start?
Giving birth to one's mind according to the wisdom of Prajna is the usefulness. What is the heart of the cloud? That is, the wisdom and sincerity inherent in the birth of our people, that is, the bodhisattva mind, bodhicitta mind, compassion mind, equanimity mind, and altruistic and selfless mind that give birth to endless sorrows.
If it is a waiting mind, it is a mind that is born without a dwelling. It is the true heart, the pure mind, that is, the Buddha's mind. And the minds that sentient beings are born of are greed, self-attachment, contribution, discrimination, and even 84,000 disturbing minds.
If it is a waiting mind, it is the mind that is born by dwelling, which is the delusional mind, the karmic mind, that is, the mind of sentient beings. So what? Because sentient beings are everywhere, there are many minds, and if there are many minds, they cannot be pure, and if they are not pure, they cannot realize the true truth.
Therefore, if a Buddhist student wants to realize the true truth, that is, if he wants to let go of everything, then he will not stop everything, and the true heart will see himself, that is, the heart of the Tao. The Tao is born from the heart, and the heart is seen by the Tao.

All greed, hatred, and stupidity.
** In the upside-down dream.
Attaching to this foundation is the root of samsara.
All beings were originally liberated.
Just because the heart has. Stayed.
And layer upon layer.
There is no liberation.

"You should have no place to live, but have a heart" means: do not pray for results when doing things, but have the heart to do it seriously. To put it simply: you just do what you want and don't worry about the result. Then there will be no worries.
It refers to people's nostalgia for the world and the complex material system; The heart refers to people's comprehension of the Buddha's principles and Zen teachings, and people should have no attachment to worldly materials in order to have a deep understanding of the Buddha.
This phrase is a Buddhist term, from the full name of the Diamond Sutra, the Vajra Prajnaparamita Sutra. It is also known as non-dwelling heart and non-heart. and Prajna Heart Sutra"Emptiness is color"Righteousness.
This means that no matter what state you are in, this mind can be free from attachment and arise naturally. If the mind is attached, as if it is rooted and does not move, it will not be able to effectively control everything.

There should be no place to live, but the heart should be born.
There should be no place to live, but the heart should be born. ", from the Diamond Sutra. The general idea is that the less persistent, delusional, and conjecture that are intertwined in the heart, the more you can find your true self and your free mind.
No matter what state you are in, this mind can be free from attachment and arise naturally. If the mind is attached, as if it is rooted and does not move, it will not be able to effectively control everything. Therefore, no matter where you are, your mind must not have the slightest attachment, so that you can be free at any time and realize the truth as a reality.
The further back you go in life, the more you will find that there are many things that we can't control. Choose the intricacies of the world, the confusing life, close to the eyes and tongues of others.
The only thing we can control is our own state of mind.
The story of Su Shi and Buddha Yin.
Su Shi is a great talent, and Buddha Yin is a high monk, and the two often participate in Zen and meditate together. One day, the two meditated together again.
Su Shi asked: What do you look like me? Buddha Yin said:
I see you like a Buddha. Su Shi laughed after hearing this, and said to Buddha Yin: Do you know what I see you sitting there like?
It's like a pile of cow dung. This time, Foyin suffered a dumb loss again. Su Shi went home and showed off this matter in front of Su Xiaomei.
Su Xiaomei sneered and said to her brother, how can you still participate in Zen with your understanding?
Do you know what is the most important thing for people who participate in Zen? It's seeing the heart, and you have it in your heart. The Buddha Yin said that if you look like a Buddha, it means that he has a Buddha in his heart; You say that the Buddha seal is like cow dung, think about what you have in your heart!
Truly intelligent people are often undefined. Those who do not accept the definition will go further and further. We can't control what other people say, but you know what kind of person you are and what you are after.
Learn to look inward and not be affected by the external environment or man-made factors, so that you can truly be at ease.
May we all know our own hearts and see our own nature. Be who you are.

Everyone has a past and present life, and so are the enlightened saints, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The life of the six ancestors Huineng is not necessarily illiterate, in fact, the six ancestors Huineng is only because he is the so-called "Nanman" (Vietnamese) does not understand Chinese, although there are similarities between not understanding Chinese and "illiterate", but it cannot be said for sure that he did not read it when he was in Vietnam, and he has been exposed to a little ancient classics of Vietnamese, otherwise how could he have traveled thousands of miles to China to find a master who can enlighten himself? It must be that he has clearly read the experiences that indicate enlightenment recorded in the scriptures, and in order to verify the scriptures and truly attain enlightenment, he will wander the world to seek the Master, just like all good knowledge that seeks the Tao. >>>More
